This seeems to be a 1 month licence: when activated it's valid till 5.22.2020 I've tested it: when you set your system date one month later, the program reverts to a trial. So it's not a Giveaway but only a one month trial version. EaseUS used to make backup, recovery and disk management software. When you look closely at the program's files, you can find 105 of them that contain references to Apowersoft Video Editor. The unin00.dat file has even a reference to rd.apowersoft.com and another one to setup_apoweredit.lock And the interface is very similar to ApowertEdit's interface. I don't know if Apowesoft baught EaseUS but obviously it's the same program sold with another name, with is a very common trick for chinese companies, selling identical or very similar software under different names. With EaseUS Video Editor, as almost in every chinese multimedia software, there is also A LOT of modules (dll) that are developed under Open Source licences (Mediainfo, FFmpeg, POSIX Threads...) with no mention of this, in violation of the developer's copyright licences. Even if it's Free Software, it is MANDATORY to mention that you are using it in your program and to include a copy of the Licence. So, is the program good? Maybe, but I'm not here to test trial versions from companies with shady practices.

One month? Are you serious? There's not a piece of software anywhere that doesn't give you 30-days of trial usage. So why go through all this webpage surfing to get something most other software sellers will give you with one simple install?
